Plutus surveyed more than 200 healthcare providers about their RCM processes and plans, according to a Sept. 14 news release from the company.
Here are the surveyed providers’ top plans for improving RCM analytics in 2023:
1. Supporting internal processes with increased staff – 60 percent
2. Investing in more analytics software – 27 percent
3. Adding support through an external vendor – 25 percent
4. Utilizing artificial intelligence plugins to augment current RCM software – 14 percent
5. Transitioning to a single, end-to-end solution for RCM – 8 percent
6. Investing in data cleanup and organization (external) – 6 percent
