HFMA names individual achievement award winner: 3 quick facts

Richard Schrock, CPA, has received the Healthcare Financial Management Association’s 2016 Frederick C. Morgan Individual Achievement Award.

  The individual achievement award recognizes career-long contributions to HFMA and within the healthcare finance industry. Mr. Schrock is the 58th person to receive the honor.

Below are three things to know about Mr. Schrock.

1. Mr. Schrock held executive leadership positions at number of hospitals and health systems throughout his career, including The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus where he served as CFO.

2. Since joining HFMA in 1970, Mr. Schrock has served the organization in a number of roles, including central Ohio chapter president, Virginia chapter president and North Dakota chapter board member.

3. Mr. Schrock has received national recognition for his dedication to and finance expertise in the healthcare industry. He has earned the Follmer Bronze, Reeves Silver and Muncie Gold awards, as well as the Founder’s Medal of Honor.
