HFMA appoints Dayton Benway as national mentor

Dayton Benway, a principal in the healthcare consulting practice of Baker Newman Noyes, has been elected to the national Chapter Advancement Team of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, a group of nine healthcare finance experts who facilitate meetings between chapters to exchange ideas and best practices.

Mr. Benway previously served as regional executive of HFMA’s Region One, which covers Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. He also previously served as president of the Maine Chapter of HFMA.

At Baker Newman Noyes, Mr. Benway specializes in hospital and rural health clinic Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement, Medicare audits and provider certifications.
