The $25 million donation, made by developer Chris Jeffries and his wife Lisa, aims to help Henry Ford rapidly expand its precision medicine program. The ultimate goal is to create a precision health center at the health system.

Henry Ford said the gift will also significantly increase its research funds for cancer treatment and boost its behavioral health, cardiovascular and metabolic disease services.
