Catholic Healthcare West’s Revenues Up 12% for FY 2011

Catholic Healthcare West, which operates 40 hospitals in California, Arizona and Nevada, has released its financial results for its fiscal year 2011, ended July 30, 2011, reporting total unrestricted revenue of $10.57 billion, up roughly 13 percent from $9.35 billion in 2010.

The hospital operator’s operating income was $197.56 million for the year, up from $83.22 million in 2010.

During 2011, CHW provided $1.38 billion in net community benefit, equivalent to 14.5 percent of total expenses.
