HCA Expansion to Create 2,000 Jobs in Nashville Area

Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America is creating roughly 2,000 jobs over the next five years as it expands in Davidson County, Tenn., according to a Memphis Business Journal report.

The development is estimated to be the largest creation of jobs in Nashville by a single economic expansion since Dell in the early 1990s, according to the report. The project will allow for construction to begin on a high-profile commercial real estate project, known as West End Summit. The twin 20-story towers are a $200 million investment.

HCA affiliate Parallon Business Solutions will reside in one tower, while Sarah Cannon Research Institute will be in the other.
