GTCR intends to pursue growth initiatives at RevSpring as well as complementary acquisitions in multivertical billing and payment sectors. To support this strategy, the firm committed up to $400 million in capital investments.
RevSpring offers clients a comprehensive revenue cycle management platform that includes consumer payment portals, data cleansing solutions and analytics tools that validate patient identity. It serves approximately 2,000 health systems, hospitals, revenue cycle management providers and financial services organizations.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Officials expect the deal to close later this month.
