A $3 million USDA Guaranteed Loan to the hospital is also being funded through a partnership with local Gothenburg banks.
The expansion plan includes a new patient wing and a larger medical clinic. The hospital is also working on a 3,900 square-foot surgical addition, according to the report.
The hospital expansion is needed due to growth in patient volume at the facility over the last eighteen months.
