3 Hospital Systems Receive Ratings Downgrades in Last Month

Three hospital systems have received credit rating downgrades in the last 30 days, according to HFA Partners.

The health systems receiving the downgrades include:

•    Mary Washington Healthcare (Fredericksburg, Va.) — From A3 to Baa1 (Moody’s)
•    Mercy Medical Center (Canton, Ohio) — From BBB- to BB+ (Fitch)
•    Reid Hospital & Health System (Richmond, Ind.) — From A+ to A (Fitch)

Two health systems also received upgrades in the last 30 days.
