Forum Health Hospitals in Ohio File for Bankruptcy

Forum Health Hospitals, based in Youngstown, Ohio, voluntarily filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, according to a Forum Health news release.

All of Forum Health’s four hospitals, which serve the Mahoning Valley area in Ohio, are expected to maintain their day-to-day business operations during the reorganization under Chapter 11. In addition, all employees are expected to keep their jobs and salaries.

Forum Health’s strategic plan includes increasing admissions by 10 per day, improving patient satisfaction, enhancing physician relations, re-establishing a formal presence and implementing cost-saving measures, according to the news release.
