Wake Forest Baptist confirmed the issues in an emailed statement to Becker’s Hospital Review.
“The transition of our professional billing colleagues from Wake Forest Baptist’s payroll and benefits programs to those of nThrive took place in July. After the change, the transitioned colleagues received their final Wake Forest Baptist paychecks on time, but some experienced discrepancies in their payroll deductions and vacation payouts,” hospital officials say.
They add, “We regret this disruption and appreciate our colleagues’ patience as we work diligently to correct these inaccuracies.”
Wake Forest Baptist said it hopes all corrections are made by Friday, although it’s possible their efforts may not be completed until early next month. Officials noted affected employees have been contacted and offered assistance.
Positions affected by the contract with nThrive include jobs that support professional billing across Wake Forest Baptist and Cornerstone Health Care outpatient clinics and hospital outpatient departments, according to the report.
