For-profit stock report: Week of May 13-17

Three major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices fall last week.

Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the greatest decrease, 7.8 percent.

Here's how the operators stacked up as of May 17:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $3.18 per share (down 7.8 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $123.51 per share (down 0.2 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare: $20.84 per share (up 1.2 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $121.88 per share (down 0.7 percent)
