For-profit hospital stock report: Week of Oct. 11

Three major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.

Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the greatest increase, 6 percent.

Here's how the operators stacked up as of Oct. 11:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $4.06 per share (up 6 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $120.43 per share (up 2.4 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $22.58 per share (up 5.4 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $146.13 per share (no change)
