For-profit hospital stock report: Week of Nov. 20-24

All five major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.

Among the major for-profit hospital operators, Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw the greatest increase in share price at 3.7 percent.

Here is how the five operators stacked up as of Nov. 24.

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $4.18 per share (up 0.7 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $77.19 per share (up 2.6 percent)
  • LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $45.25 per share (up 3.5 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $13.73 per share (up 3.7 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $100.46 per share (up 3.3 percent)
