For-profit hospital stock report: Week of May 27-31

Four major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices fall last week.

Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the greatest decrease, 15.3 percent.

Here’s how the operators stacked up as of May 31:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $2.66 per share (down 15.3 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $120.96 per share (down 2.3 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare: $19.96 per share (down 9.3 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $119.55 per share (down 2.9 percent)
