For-profit hospital stock report: Week of Feb. 12-16

All five major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.

Among the major for-profit hospital operators Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the greatest increase in share price at 11.3 percent.

Here is how the five operators stacked up as of Feb. 16.

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $6.03 per share (up 11.3 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $101.02 per share (up 3.3 percent)
  • LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $49.20 per share (up 3.4 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $19.50 per share (up 8.3 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $117.94 per share (up 2.4 percent)
