Three major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices fall last week.

Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the greatest decrease, 10.5 percent.

Here's how the operators stacked up as of Aug. 23:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $1.88 per share (down 10.5 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $119.78 per share (down 3.3 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $20.74 per share (up 2 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $143.48 per share (down 2.6 percent)
