For-profit hospital stock report: Week ending Nov. 22

Three major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.

Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw the greatest increase, 2.9 percent.

Here's how the four major operators stacked up as of Nov. 22:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $3.16 per share (up 0.6 percent).
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $139.20 per share (up 0.8 percent).
  • Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $31.43 per share (up 2.9 percent).
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $139.32 per share (down 3.4 percent).
