Fitch upgrades Salem Health’s rating to ‘AA-‘

Fitch Ratings upgraded Salem (Ore.) Health’s outstanding rated dent to “AA-” from “A+.”

At the same time, Fitch assigned Salem Health an issuer default rating of “AA-.”

The upgrade and assignment are based on several factors, including Salem Health’s dominant position in a favorable primary service area, strong operating results and improving financial profile.

The outlook is stable.
