Fitch upgrades Cottage Health rating to ‘AA-‘

Fitch Ratings assigned an issuer default rating of “AA-” to Santa Barbara, Calif.-based Cottage Health and upgraded its revenue bond rating from “A+” to “AA-.”

The upgraded rating is a result of Cottage Health’s sharp recovery in operating performance in 2017 and 2018 and completion of major construction.

The rating outlook is stable.
