Fitch upgrades Cass Medical Center’s rating to ‘BBB’

Fitch Ratings has upgraded Harrisonville, Mo.-based Cass Regional Medical Center’s rating on its series 2007 revenue bonds to “BBB” from “BBB-,” affecting approximately $45.5 million.

The rating upgrade is based on a number of factors, including the medical center’s overall financial strengthening and designation as a critical access hospital.

The outlook is stable.
