Fitch, S&P Credit Ratings to Be Made Available for Free on Website

Beginning on Nov. 21, current municipal credit ratings provided by Fitch Ratings and Standard & Poor’s will be displayed on the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board’s Electronic Municipal Market Access website, according to an MSRB news release.

In addition to the credit rating information, which includes health systems and hospitals, the EMMA website will make real-time trade data and primary market and continuing disclosure documents available for roughly 1.5 million outstanding municipal bonds, according to the release.
