Fitch assigns ‘BBB+’ rating to Carson Tahoe Health System

Fitch Ratings has assigned a “BBB+” rating to Carson City, Nev.-based Carson Tahoe Health System’s following bonds:

  • $12.3 million of series 2005 revenue bonds
  • $39.7 million of series 2003B revenue bonds

The rating assignment is based on a number of factors, including CTHS’ improved operating profitability, manageable debt burden and leading market position in its primary service area.

The outlook is stable.
