Fitch assigns ‘AA-‘ rating to Saint Francis Healthcare System’s bonds

Fitch Ratings has assigned an “AA-” rating to Girardeau, Mo.-based Saint Francis Healthcare System’s $35 million of series 2016 bonds.

The rating assignment is based on a number of factors, including SFHS’ strong operating profitability, solid liquidity, manageable debt burden and completion of a new patient tower.

The outlook is stable.
