Fitch assigns ‘AA-‘ rating to Johns Hopkins Health System’s bonds

Fitch Ratings assigned an “AA-” rating to Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Health System’s $500 million of series 2016 bonds.

The rating assignment is based on several factors, including JHHS’ world-renowned clinical reputation and solid liquidity.

The outlook is stable.

Fitch also affirmed the “AA-” rating on JHHS’ outstanding debt.
