Fitch assigns ‘A+’ rating to Southern Illinois Healthcare Enterprises’ bonds

Fitch Ratings assigned an “A+” rating to Carbondale-based Southern Illinois Healthcare Enterprises’ $80.2 million of series 2016A bonds and $65.99 million of series 2016B bonds.

The rating assignment is based on a number of factors, including SIHE’s sound profitability and leading market share.

The outlook is stable.
