Fitch assigns ‘A-‘ rating to Lake Hospital System bonds

Fitch Ratings has assigned an “A-” rating to approximately $72.3 million of bonds issued by County of Lake, Ohio on behalf of Lake Hospital System.

In addition, Fitch has affirmed the “A-” rating on approximately $67 million of series 2008C hospital facility revenue bonds issued by Lake County, Ohio on behalf of Lake Hospital System.

The rating assignment was based on a number of factors, including Lake Health System’s strong cash flow, leading market position and adequate liquidity measures.

The rating outlook is stable.
