Fitch assigns ‘A+’ issuer rating to Hunterdon Medical Center

Fitch Ratings assigned its “A+” issuer default rating to Flemington, N.J.-based Hunterdon Medical Center.

Fitch also affirmed its “A+” rating for Hunterdon’s series 2014A revenue bonds.

The ratings are supported by the hospital’s dominant market position, good payer mix and history of consistently solid operating results.

The rating outlook is stable.
