Fitch affirms Universal Health Services’ ‘BB+’ rating

Fitch Ratings has affirmed King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services’ “BB+” issuer default rating.

The rating affirmation is based on a number of factors, including UHS’ solid cash flows, its leading acute care segment and the stability of its behavioral health businesses.

Fitch also affirmed UHS’ senior secured credit facility and senior secured bond ratings at “BBB-/RR1.”

The outlook is stable.
