Fitch affirms Tufts Medical Center’s ‘BBB’ rating

Fitch Ratings has affirmed the “BBB” rating on Boston-based Tufts Medical Center’s $210 million of series 2011 bonds and $100 million of series 2013 bonds.

The rating affirmation is based on several factors, including Tufts’ stable liquidity position, manageable debt burden and healthcare reform strategy.

The outlook is stable.
