Fitch affirms Spartanburg Regional Health System’s ‘A+’ rating

Fitch Ratings has affirmed the “A+” rating on the following bonds issued on behalf of Spartanburg (S.C.) Regional Health System.

  • $126.9 million of series 2012A bonds
  • $41.6 million of series 2008A bonds
  • $21.7 million of series 2008D bonds

The “A+” is an underlying rating for the series 2008 bonds.

The rating affirmation is based on several factors, including SRHS’ position as the sole tertiary provider in Spartanburg County and its manageable debt burden.

The rating outlook is stable.
