Fitch Ratings has affirmed the "AA-/F1+" ratings on Fountain Valley, Calif.-based MemorialCare Health System's outstanding debt.
The rating affirmation is based on several factors, including MemorialCare's strong liquidity, low debt burden and system growth.
The system also faces numerous challenges, including operating in the competitive Los Angeles and Orange County markets.
The outlook is stable.
