Fitch affirms FirstHealth of the Carolinas’ ‘AA’ rating

Fitch Ratings has affirmed the “AA” rating on Pinehurst, N.C.-based FirstHealth of the Carolinas’ revenue bonds, affecting approximately $97.7 million.

The rating affirmation is based on a number of factors, including FirstHealth’s strong market position, robust liquidity and moderate debt burden.

The outlook is stable.
