Fitch affirms Berkshire Health Systems’ ‘A-‘ rating

Fitch Ratings has affirmed the “A-” rating on Pittsfield, Mass.-based Berkshire Health Systems’ $83.7 million of series 2012G bonds and $23.5 million of series 2005F bonds.

The rating affirmation is based on a number of factors, including BHS’ continued strong operating performance, dominant market share and solid liquidity.

The outlook is stable.
