Concurrently, Fitch assigned its “BBB-” issuer default rating to the hospital.
The affirmation and assignment are based on several factors, including the hospital’s steady market position, improving profitability and strong integration with Kansas City, Mo.-based St. Luke’s Health System. Fitch unfavorably viewed the hospitals high leverage and limited liquidity.
The outlook is stable.
