Fitch affirms ‘AA+’ rating for Nemours Foundation

 
Fitch Ratings assigned an “AA+” issuer default rating to Jacksonville, Fla.-based Nemours Foundation and affirmed its “AA+” revenue bond rating.

The ratings are attributable to the system’s very strong financial profile assessment. While its Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children is the market leader for pediatric services in Wilmington, Del., Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, Fla., faces more competition.

The rating outlook is stable.
