Fitch affirms ‘A+’ rating on Heritage Valley Health System

Fitch Ratings affirmed its “A+” rating on Beaver, Pa.-based Heritage Valley Health System’s series 2012 revenue bonds, affecting $51.6 million of debt.

The affirmation is a result of several factors, including the health system’s strong liquidity position, modest debt burden and favorable local market position. Fitch also acknowledged the health system’s weakened profit margin in fiscal year 2017.

The outlook is stable.
