Fitch affirms ‘A-‘ rating on Anne Arundel Health System’s bonds

Fitch Ratings affirmed the “A-” rating on Annapolis, Md.-based Anne Arundel Health System’s following bonds:

  • $122.6 million of series 2014 bonds
  • $67.4 million of series 2012 bonds
  • $76.4 million of series 2010 bonds
  • $60 million of series 2009B bonds

The rating affirmation is based on a number of factors, including AAHS’ solid profitability and affiliation with “AA-“-ranked Johns Hopkins Health System in Baltimore.

The outlook is stable.
