Jacksonville, Fla.-based Brooks Rehabilitation had its credit ratings affirmed at "A-" as it continues to perform well and prove its leading market presence in a fast-growing region, Fitch Ratings said Jan. 6.
The system faces headwinds in the form of labor costs, inflationary pressures and outpatient rehab competition, but it remains well placed given its ability to maintain profitability and because of its dominance in Florida and Georgia's border region, Fitch said. Its 30 outpatient sites in the Jacksonville service area are estimated to have the largest market share of any provider.
Brooks Rehabilitation is expecting to open five more locations in the Orlando area in 2023, Fitch said.
