The automation capabilities work with FinThrive’s insurance discovery platform, according to an Oct. 6 news release. The company’s new machine learning capabilities sort uncovered revenue opportunities based on the probability of receiving payment on the claim. Health systems utilizing this algorithm can prioritize which opportunities to pursue first.

In testing, the model “significantly outperforms” existing worklist prioritization strategies, which traditionally pursue claims based on the dollar value of the claim alone, according to the release.
