Fairfax Ob-Gyn adds paperless billing services with PatientPay

Since Fairfax Ob-Gyn Associates in Virginia began using PatientPay's paperless billing system, the women's health practice has reduced average payment collection times by almost 90 percent.

Durham, N.C.-based PatientPay provides healthcare practices with an electronic billing solution that improves a provider's billing process by simplifying the patient payment experience.

"Our practice has had a positive overall experience with PatientPay," said Megan Colon, billing manager for Fairfax. "We love PatientPay and look forward to a strong relationship with the team."

Fairfax shrunk their patient collections time period from four months to 13 days after switching to a paperless claims process. The care practice also reduced overall billing costs by 44 percent.

"Medical practices must move now into the age of paperless billing or no longer be able to serve their patients as they want, maintain a top-notch staff or succeed as a business," said PatientPay CEO Tom Furr.
