Available in both English and Spanish languages, the app enables both insured and uninsured consumers to estimate regionally specific costs of medical and dental procedures in Connecticut, New York state, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
It also includes educational material explaining the fundamentals of healthcare coverage and directs users to community resources especially helpful for newly insured individuals.
The Connecticut Health Foundation provided funding for the app, which is available for download through the iTunes App Store or from Google Play.
