FAIR Health adds former Tufts Health Plan CEO to board: 4 things to know

New York City-based FAIR Health, a healthcare data analytics and consumer education firm, appointed James Roosevelt Jr. to its board of directors.

Here are four things to know about Mr. Roosevelt.

1. Mr. Roosevelt serves as counsel at Verrill Dana in Boston.

2. He previously helmed Boston-based Tufts Health Plan as president and CEO for more than 10 years.

3. Mr. Roosevelt is the former chair of America’s Health Insurance Plans, a national health insurance trade association. Today he chairs the organization’s policy and regulatory committee.

4. He also previously chaired the Massachusetts Hospital Association and the Massachusetts Association of Health Plans, served on the board of the American Hospital Association and is a previous president of the American Health Lawyers Association.
