EdgeMED Healthcare acquires medical billing division of Schenck

Boca Raton, Fla.-based EdgeMED, a national provider of healthcare revenue cycle management solutions, acquired Schenck’s medical billing division, according to a Post-Crescent report.

Appleton, Wis.-based Schenck is a full-service CPA and consulting firm.

Greg Barber, president and CEO of Schenck, said, “Schenck is a significant player in serving physician practices, and we felt teaming up with EdgeMED would be mutually beneficial to both our organizations and clients.”
