Ms. Parton decided to donate to the hospital since her niece was treated for leukemia, and cured, at the hospital when she was younger.
The donation announcement follows the release of Ms. Parton’s first children’s album “I Believe in You.” All proceeds from the album will benefit Ms. Parton’s Imagination Library that ships books to more than 1 million children worldwide.
