Here are four things to know about the transaction.
1. DAS, based in Tampa, Fla., has acquired Spectra Healthcare’s RCM business. Spectra has been in the healthcare RCM field for more than 14 years.
2. With this acquisition, DAS’ RCM division will handle more than $100 million in annual medical billings.
3. “We’ve enjoyed a tremendous relationship with Spectra over the years and are excited about the enhanced products and services we’ll be able to deliver to our clients. We look forward to continuing to grow physicians’ bottom lines in a bigger, more powerful way, said DAS President and CEO David Schlaifer.
4. The Spectra acquisition will allow DAS to expand its RCM consulting and workflow design services.
