Data-Core Systems, GE Healthcare partner on integrated revenue cycle management solution

Data-Core Systems of Philadelphia, a technology, consulting and business process services provider, and GE Healthcare announced a partnership Thursday, allowing Data Core to build its revenue cycle services around GE Healthcare's Centricity Business, a healthcare revenue cycle management platform, that supports traditional fee-for-service and accountable care reimbursement models.

Complicated rules and regulations in billing and ineffective business process management have caused inefficiencies in the revenue cycle to emerge. Powered by GE Healthcare Centricity Business, Data-Core Systems' AXIA framework can be used by small and medium-sized hospitals to initiate population health management decisions as it can track key performance indicators, monitor finances and perform predictive analytics.

The goal of the partnership is to help healthcare organizations successfully navigate the increasingly complex revenue cycle process.
