Oleen Pinnacle specializes in IT and operations for government healthcare agencies, integrated delivery systems and health plans. The transaction expands Cumberland’s ability to service government and commercial health plans.
In a prepared statement, Cumberland CEO Brian Cahill said, “Bringing together our two organizations meets the growing need in the marketplace for high-quality strategic advisory and information technology consulting services to help payer organizations navigate increasing government regulations and changing payment models.”
This is Cumberland’s third acquisition in the last three years. It recently purchased Cipe Consulting Group, an EHR and revenue cycle implementation firm, and Mindlance Life Sciences, a pharmaceutical consulting group.
