The organizations to partner with CHA are Covenant Health and Tennova Healthcare, multihospital competitors based in Knoxville, and Decatur County General Hospital, a 40-bed rural hospital based in Parsons.
All three providers are now part of CHA’s preferred provider network, which will offer health plans on Tennessee’s health insurance marketplace this October. CO-OPs are consumer-owned, nonprofit health insurers created under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
