Hebrew runs a 257-bed nursing home and a hospital comprised of a 23-bed medical unit and 22-bed behavioral health unit. As part of the restructuring, Hebrew has signed over nursing home operations to Hebrew Home for Health and Rehabilitation, not associated with Hebrew HealthCare.
The rest of Hebrew’s operations, including the hospital, senior day center and physician services, will be restructured under Chapter 11 protection.
In a statement, the Hebrew said it plans to maintain the current level of service to all residents and patients.
